šŖ¾Stripping Back, Rooting Down & Rising Higher: What Nature Teaches Us This Weekš³
Following the energy of this weekās shift, that gentle awakening of self-worth, clearer boundaries, and the quiet return to what feels true, nature offered the most perfect reflection during a recent walk.
At this time of year, the natural world shows us one message again and again:
We cannot rise without first rooting down and shedding what is no longer serving us.
The Church Path āŖļø
Boundaries Are Clear, Honest & Without Guilt

Nature, like sacred spaces, knows how to hold boundaries with grace.
The gates were open.
The path welcomed you in.
The porch was peaceful and still.
But the inner door was closed.
Not as rejection.
Not as punishment.
Simply as a boundary; clear, neutral, and without emotion.
It reminded me of something nature demonstrates so effortlessly:
A āyesā is a yes.
A ānoā is a no.
Neither requires explanation.

A simple moment of touch, a hand on ancient stone⦠Shows how grounding it can be to honour the boundary instead of pushing past it.
Sometimes we are invited to pause, not to enter.
And that is enough.
This ties beautifully into Mondayās theme of stepping into deeper clarity and releasing what no longer aligns.
šæ The Willows š
Deep Roots Keep Us Standing Through Every Storm šŖļø

Willows have some of the deepest and widest root systems of any tree.
Because of this, they:
⢠withstand storms
⢠survive floods
⢠bend without breaking
⢠adapt to every season
They teach us that the deeper we go within, the stronger we stand without.
The inner healing work, reflection, rest, honest choices; these are our roots.
The deeper we ground ourselves, the more anchored we stay through lifeās personal storms.
We donāt snap.
We adjust.
We stay rooted.
š Crossing the Water š
Growth Requires Trustš

The river rushed loudly beneath the bridge, but the bridge itself was steady.
Transitions often feel like this:
The emotions below may be intense, fast, or overwhelming, yet the path forward is stable when we trust it.
Just as Mondayās energy encouraged small but honest decisions, nature reminds us that we grow every time we choose to cross a new threshold.
The Muddy Path š„¾
Healing Isnāt Neat, But It Leads to light šÆļø

The path ahead was uneven and messy, yet completely open.
Healing, reflection, and realignment rarely look perfect.
They are honest.
Raw.
Unpolished.
But when we keep moving forward, even slowly, the light always finds us.
šæThe Berries āŖļø
What We Hold On To, and What We Release

In winter, some berries remain while others fall away.
This is how nature saves its energy:
by holding only what is essential for the next season.
It reflects Mondayās message beautifully: Letting go of old stories and carrying only what supports our future growth.
Some things stay.
Some things leave.
The wisdom is in knowing the differenceā¦
šŖ¾My Italian Tree š³
Proof That Stripping Back Allows Real Growth

April: Stripped Back šŖ¾
Earlier this year, this tree outside our home in Italy, stood completely cut back; bare, honest, reduced to its essential shape.
No leaves.
No decoration.
Just truth.

September: Full Bloom š³
Months later, the same tree returned in full abundance.
Nature shows us that pruning isnāt loss.
Itās preparation.
The season of stripping back allows the next season of flourishing.
This is how genuine growth works;
root first, shed what we no longer need and rise later.
The Sunset Trees šŖ¾š
Strength in Simplicity

As the walk ended, the trees stood bare against the winter sun; strong, clear, held in their season.
There is power in simplicity.
Strength in standing honestly in where we are.
Peace in letting go of what we no longer need to carry.
A Closing Thought for the Week
Nature is preparing for a new cycle.
And so are we.
This week encouraged:
honest choices
clearer boundaries
releasing old patterns
grounding our energy
preparing the soil for our 2026 seeds
And nature shows us exactly how to do this:
Root down.
Strip back.
Rest.
Then rise higher than ever beforeā¦
